Finance Minister Nirmala Sitaram on Monday handed over Rs. 1,500 crore scheme has been proposed. “To further promote digital transactions, I will pay Rs 1,500 crore for the proposed scheme, to present the central budget for the year 2021-222, to promote the digital mode of payment,” he said. The Finance Minister said that a ‘World Class’ Fintech Hub would be set up at GIFT City (Gujarat International Finance Tech-City) on the banks of Sabarmati River to promote and develop innovative financial technology services and products. The hub will help create about 1.5 lakh jobs for the youth.
