Vanbandhu Sahay Yojana

At present the Government of Gujarat provides assistance in planting material for planting fruits on ikhedut portal. The online application form can be filled online from i-farmer portal.
The purpose of the scheme
It is necessary to increase the number of fruits in Gujarat day by day. With this in mind, it has been decided to assist in the cultivation of fruits. To encourage farmers to cultivate various fruit crops and to increase the production of fruit crops, the Government provides assistance on the cultivation of these crops under this scheme.
Eligibility for assistance in planting material for planting of fruits
The scheme has been implemented by the Horticulture Branch operating under the Department of Agriculture and Co-operation, Gujarat. The following eligibility criteria have been determined for availing the benefit of this scheme.
Gujarat state should be a farmer.
These schemes will benefit small, marginal farmers in the state of Gujarat.
Farmers benefit if they have land or forest rights records.
Farmers will get the benefit of this scheme only once.
This assistance will be given to ST class people.
Rules for obtaining assistance in planting material for planting of fruits
In order to avail the benefits of this scheme run by the Horticulture Department of the Gujarat State Government, certain terms and conditions have been laid down. On the basis of which the benefit will be given. Which are as follows.
Beneficiary farmer should have land record.
Assistance will be available only in case the price of fruit seedlings is up to Rs.250 / -.
Assistance will be available up to a limit of 4 hectares per farmer's account.
Must be prepared from cuttings / tissue culture (seedlings) / seeds.
Planting material would have to be procured from NHB Dwar Accreditation / Agricultural University and Horticulture Department nurseries for fruit grafting.
Seedlings prepared from seeds should be procured from NHB Accreditation / Krishi Uni. / Horticulture Department Nurseries.
Tissue Planting Material (Saplings) should be procured from a government institution such as DBT approved / accredited Tissue Lab, GNFC, GSFC, Tissue Lab of Agricultural University.
Beneficiaries who have availed benefits under this scheme will not be eligible for assistance in any other crop scheme.

Documents for obtaining scheme assistance
Online application is required to get help in planting of fruits running on ikhedut portal. Which will require the following important documents.
1. Copy of Aadhaar card
2. Xerox of ration card
3. Certificate of ST caste
4. Farmer's ikhedut portal 7-12
5. Certificate of Disability if a disabled farmer (if applicable)
6. Copy of Forest Rights Certificate for Citizens of Tribal Area (if any)
7. Consent form of other farmer in 7-12 and 8-A land in case farmer friend land as joint account holder
8. Certificate if the soul has registration
9. Copy of bank account passbook
Apply Online Ikhedut Portal Yojana
You have to apply online for this scheme run by Bagayati Vibhag. Farmers have to apply online from ikhedut portal to avail the benefits of Vanbandhu scheme in planting material for planting of fruits. Farmers can apply for the scheme online from the Gram Panchayat, the nearest Common Service Center or anywhere.
